Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council Announces New CEO Valarie J. Cofield

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – October 23, 2014. Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC) has today announced the appointment of Valarie J. Cofield as EMSDC’s chief executive officer which became effective October 8, 2014. Ms. Cofield brings 25 years of leadership abilities and relevant supplier diversity experience to her new role at the recently restructured EMSDC (formerly PA-NJ-DE MSDC and WP MSDC). Ms. Cofield replaces Geoffrey Kent, an EMSDC Board member, who served as interim CEO of EMSDC since April, 2014.
