Celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

The Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC) has been advocating access to the American dream for MBEs for over 50 years, alongside 22 other regional affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) across the country. Our primary focus area is Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware, and through certification, events, and facilitating connections with corporate members committed to supplier diversity and development, we are helping to provide wealth-building opportunities for systematically excluded communities of color, including Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic, and Native American.

Asianpacificheritage.gov states that May is a time for “paying tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America’s history and are instrumental in its future success.” In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we are recognizing the contributions of MBEs owned by entrepreneurs who are Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or of Pacific Islander descent, and today, we are shining a spotlight on three from our region:

  • QPS, LLC
