Celebrating 50 Years of Impact

This year, the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC) is celebrating 50 years of impact, and we invite you to commemorate this momentous occasion with us!  Over the past five decades, our mission has been to stimulate and support economic development with minority-owned businesses. As one of 23 regional councils across the country with more than 1,500+ corporate members nationally, EMSDC certifies minority-owned businesses (Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Native American) throughout Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware, and connects them with member corporations to initiate growth and opportunity through Supplier Diversity channels. Read on to learn more!

The Benefits of Certification

As a minority business enterprise (MBE), there are many benefits to being certified with EMSDC — from national recognition, educational programs and networking events, to award opportunities, exposure and access to corporate buyers — just to name a few. After all, we are the largest national organization whose certification is uniformly recognized by Corporate America.

The Benefits of Corporate Membership

We foster professional relationships by hosting networking events throughout the year, allowing corporations to get to know the people behind the products and services they purchase. Other perks include access to our comprehensive online database of certified minority vendors (listed by industry), educational sessions and peer-to-peer mentoring to share best practices, and expert help with matchmaking and getting new programs started.

Annual Partner Program

Purchases from MBEs help foster jobs and economic activity in underrepresented segments of the business and customer community. Sponsorship provides a great means of broadening your competitive edge and expanding your brand, all while making a difference. In recent years, corporate sponsorship has become the fastest growing type of marketing in the United States, helping businesses to engage, connect and grow.
