Fore! EMSDC’s 2024 Youth & Entrepreneur Scholarship Golf Invitational & Clinic is headed your way, and we have some exciting news to share with our MBEs and corporate members. Our most anticipated event of the summer is returning to the Pittsburgh area after three years! And that’s not all! We are also hosting a second Golf Invitational & Clinic on the eastern side of the region! Here are the dates and locations:

Hit one or both—the important thing is to tee up and get engaged (for a really great cause)! Proceeds from the 2024 Golf Invitational & Clinic events will fund impactful youth programs, including 100 Black Men of Western PA, Healthy NewsWorks, the Homeless Children’s Education Fund, the Pittsburgh Youth Golf Foundation, the Tyreem M. Richmond Book Foundation, the Business Center’s Youth Entrepreneur Camp, NOMO Foundation Philadelphia, and the Urban Youth Racing School, as well as business scholarships for our MBEs.

EMSDC strives to connect minority-owned businesses (Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Native American) throughout Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware with member corporations that are committed to supplier diversity, and our annual Golf Invitational supports the mission of the Council to build and foster business relationships that facilitate growth and opportunity. To quote our National Chapter, “it’s about upward mobility for the emerging majority of Americans, an equal shot for minority business enterprises (MBEs) at participating in the American experiment of free-market capitalism and entrepreneurship.”

In just a few short hours, you can network, find leads, make deals, fund projects, and break down barriers in a relaxed atmosphere that is conducive for problem-solving, team-building, and deepening connections. In addition to breakfast and a closing reception, we will also be hosting Golf Clinics this year, with similar benefits for beginners and participants who want to brush up on their golf skills.
